Before ordering custom puffer jackets, brands should confirm shell fabric, insulation type, filling weight direction, quilting pattern, lining, zipper quality, hood structure, pocket design, cuff detail, logo technique, and quality inspection standards.
Puffer jackets require careful production planning because insulation, quilting, and stitching directly affect appearance, warmth, bulkiness, and comfort.
Brands should decide whether the jacket is designed for fashion, outdoor use, winter streetwear, lightweight layering, or heavy cold-weather wear. Different use cases may require different shell fabrics, linings, filling structures, and construction details.
The quilting pattern should be confirmed during sampling because it affects both style and insulation distribution. Poor quilting control can create uneven appearance or inconsistent filling.
Before bulk approval, buyers should check fit, warmth feel, zipper smoothness, seam quality, filling balance, logo placement, pocket function, and packaging compression requirements.
To give you an accurate quote and timeline, it helps if you share your end use (fashion, outdoor, corporate), target retail and margin, preferred shell and insulation package, baffle style, branding method, destination country and quantity tiers. With this brief we can propose suitable fabrics, fills and construction details and map out a sampling-to-bulk schedule for your collection.
For most puffer programs our minimums typically start from 100 pieces per colour and style with full size runs inside that quantity. Once shell, insulation, baffles and branding are confirmed, development samples are usually ready in about 7–10 days, and we then provide a clear production and shipping schedule with tiered pricing by volume.
Our puffer patterns are designed to balance layering and silhouette trends, with regular, relaxed, boxy and oversized blocks available. We grade for Western markets across typical XS–3XL runs, can add extended sizes and can create gendered or unisex fits while checking shoulder width, armhole comfort and body length against your target customers.
Because puffers have baffles and curved panels, we map branding to positions that stay readable and stable in wear. Options include chest and sleeve embroidery, screen prints, reflective transfers, woven badges and rubber or silicone patches, plus custom neck, size and care labels, hangtags, stickers and printed cartons for private-label programs.
Reversible puffers, mixed-media shells and more creative quilting layouts are all within our normal production scope. We plan seam placement, labels and care tags so both sides look clean and wearable, and we can mix contrasting colours, fabrics, detachable hoods or vests without making production or QC unnecessarily complex.
