Our process begins with a project brief where we align on markets, vintage direction and budget for your hoodie line. We then choose style blocks for body shapes, panels and hoods, followed by materials planning to fix fleece weights, ribs and cords, and branding setup to define prints, embroidery, patches and labels. Next comes the fit sample stage to test measurements, shrinkage, colours and distress effects, before preproduction signoff on fits, graphics, washes and colours. Bulk production covers cutting, sewing, washing and quality checks based on the approved standards. Finally, we complete packing and shipment by confirming packing methods, carton marks and logistics so your vintage hoodies arrive in line with your launch plan.
For this category, minimum order quantities typically start from 100 pieces per colour and style, with full size runs inside that number. Pricing depends on fleece weight and composition, chosen trims, decoration coverage, construction details, wash complexity, packaging level and total volume per colour and style. At 100 pieces the unit price already covers pattern development, sampling rounds and private-label setup, making small programs workable. As volumes move into 300–500 and 1,000+ pieces per colour, unit cost improves through better cutting efficiency, fabric utilisation and amortised trims, decoration and packaging. Sampling is shown as 7–10 days once details are confirmed, and overall timelines are planned using a clear sampling-to-bulk schedule.
Many vintage programs favour relaxed or boxy silhouettes, and we also support true oversized fits where that aesthetic is important. As an oversized hoodie manufacturer, we develop regular, relaxed, oversized and cropped blocks in unisex or gender-specific versions. Size specs are graded for US, UK, EU, Canadian and Australian expectations so fits feel familiar to your customers. Typical ranges run from XS–3XL, and youth or extended sizes can be added if your distribution or community requires a broader curve.
Vintage hoodies usually need softer, aged branding instead of very glossy logos, so we provide screen print, water-based and crackle inks suited to this look. You can also specify puff and high-density hits, embroidery, chenille patches, felt applique, woven badges, rubber badges and distressed prints that are tested to hold up in washing. For private-label programs we handle woven neck, size and care labels, hangtags, barcodes, polybags and printed cartons in one package. This lets you receive vintage hoodies that are fully branded, packed and ready for your retail, wholesale or DTC channels.
On this page we highlight that vintage character is often driven by pattern work and surface detail, not just graphics. We develop panel layouts for dropped shoulders, side panels, double-layer hoods and gusseted underarms so the hoodie moves well and ages attractively. Pocket options include classic kangaroo pockets or cleaner welt pockets, both tested for their behaviour under washing and distressing. Distress zones, raw edges, darting and coverstitch lines are all checked in sampling to avoid seam blowouts in bulk, balancing aesthetics with long-term durability.
Vintage fleece needs enough weight to feel substantial even after intensive washing, so we usually work in the 320–400gsm range. As a 400 gsm hoodie manufacturer, we can also scale heavier fabrics for colder regions or premium programs. Brushed-back fleece gives a soft interior for winter markets, while unbrushed loopback or lighter French terry suits spring and coastal climates. During development we help you map fabric weights and fleece types to your target seasons and sales windows.
